Family, Early Life and Education
Bipasha Basu was born in a Hindu Bengali family on 7 January 1978 in New Delhi. He has an elder sister Bidisha and younger sister Vijeta.
Bipasa Basu has completed her early studies from Kolkata. She started her modeling career in the year 1996 from Kolkata itself. During his modeling career, he met Arjun Rampal’s wife and model Mehr Jasia. He asked her to participate in Godrej Cinthol Supermodel and luckily Bipasa Basu became the winner.
Bipasha married Karan Singh Grover on 30 April 2016.

Bipasa Basu started her Hindi cinema career in the year 2001 with the film Ajnabee directed by Abbas. She was seen opposite Akshay Kumar in this film. She was seen in a negative role in the film Ajnabee. She was nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Actress for her performance in the film.
The film Jism, released in the year 2003, is included in the important films of Bipasha’s career. In this film, Bipasha was once again seen in a negative role. John Abraham was in the lead role opposite Bipasha in Jism.
