Family, Early Life and Education
Palak Muchhal was born on 30 March 1992 into a Maheshwari Marwari Family in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Her father’s name is Rajkumar Muchhal, who is an accountant in an organization. Her mother’s name is Amita Muchhal. She has a younger brother- Palash Muchhal. Palak has been fond of music since childhood. She started singing only at the age of four. She has studied Hindustani classical music. Along with this, she is well versed in 17 languages.

Palak started her Hindi film career in the year 2011 with the film Damadam. After that she sang songs for “Na Jaane Kabse”, “Ek Tha Tiger”, “From Sydney with Love”, “Aashiqui 2” and Bengali film Rocky. But Palak got success in Hindi cinema with the films “Ek Tha Tiger” and “Aashiqui 2”.

Palak Muchhal Philanthropy Works
When the Kargil war broke out in the year 1999, he collected donations for the families of the martyrs by singing songs in shops and street corners. Palak used to help poor children by collecting donations by performing her singing in public.
After that she started doing stage shows abroad with her brother Palash, whatever money she earns from those stage shows, she donates it to poor children. He named his exhibition “Dil Se Dil Tak”. Palak sings an average of 40 songs in her exhibition which includes famous songs, bhajans and ghazals from Hindi films.
In 2001, Palak collected a donation of Rs 10 lakh to help the earthquake victims of Gujarat. Palak’s sympathy for children is not limited to India only. In July 2003, Palak offered financial assistance to a Pakistani girl who was suffering from heart disease and had come to India for treatment.
In August 2015, funds raised by her helped to save the lives of 800 children. As of October 2020, she with her brother has saved 2,200 lives of children
