He made his entry into Hindi cinema with Aamir Khan Production’s film Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. Although his character in this film was small, his character was very much liked by the audience and critics. Apart from him, Genelia D’Souza and Imran Khan were seen in the lead roles in this film. The film was one of the successful films of that year. He also received many nominations for this film.
After this film, he appeared in Kiran Rao’s Dhobi Ghat. The film also did average business at the box office.
