Rana Daggubati was born on 14 December 1984 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. His father’s name is Dugubatti Suresh Babu, he is a Telugu film producer. His mother’s name is Lakshmi Daggubati. His grandfather, Telugu filmmaker D.Ramanaidu, has been awarded the Padma Shri, the country’s highest honor. His uncles Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya are some successful actors in Telugu cinema.

Rana learned the finer techniques of photography from the Konik Institute of Imaging and Technology. After this, he produced many documentaries and commercials in Chennai. Rana moved from Chennai to Hyderabad and started handling his father’s production house. Coming here, he acquired knowledge of things related to art and craft and filmmaking from his uncle and father.
Rana Daggubati started his acting career in the year 2010 with the political thriller film Leader. She made her Bollywood debut in the year 2011 with the film Dum Maro Dum.
