Family, Early Life and Education
Remo D’Souza was born on 2 April 1972 in Bangalore, Karnataka. His father’s name is Gopi Nair, who was a Navy officer. His mother’s name was Madhavi Amma. who was a housewife. He has an elder brother Ganesh Gopi and has three younger sisters. Due to his father’s job in the Navy, he got an opportunity to do his studies in many parts of India.
He has completed his secondary education from Jamnagar, Gujarat. He was a very good athlete during his school days, and he also won many awards during that time.
Remo D’Souza is married to Lizelle who is a costume designer. He is also the father of two sons Dhruv and Gabriel.

Remo D’Souza never took any dance training. He took dance lessons by watching Michael Jackson’s videos. Since childhood, he used to learn Michael’s dance moves by choreographing his own steps in it. Due to lack of money, he opened his dance class Super Brats and started teaching dance to the people. Initially, Remo had to struggle a lot in this area.
During the struggle itself, a dance competition was organized in which Remo’s team won and won, and people also saw his talent. After this Remo’s luck shone, he got his first opportunity as a dancer in Aamir Khan and Urmila Mantodkar starrer film Rangeela. Critics also noticed and praised her dance in this film.
After this film, he started assisting choreographer Ahmed Khan. A year later, she decided to do an independent project herself and choreographed Sonu Nigam’s album Deewana under Abhinav Sinha’s directorial debut, which proved to be a huge hit during that time, after which she went on to do video albums with many other big directors.
The turning point of his career was the item song Ishq Samandar from the film Kante, which was a huge hit in those days, and after that people in Hindi cinema recognized Remo’s ability.
