Shamita Shetty was born on 2 February 1979 in Chembur, Mumbai. His father’s name is Surendra Shetty and mother Sunanda Shetty. He has a sister-Shilpa Shetty Kundra-who is an actress.
Shamita Shetty did her early education from St. Anthony Girls High School, Chembur, Mumbai. He has done his graduation from Sydenham College Mumbai.
Shamita Shetty Career
Shamita Shetty started her career with Yash Raj Films’ film Mohabbatein. Seeing her performance in this film, even today people can not stop themselves from praising him. She has also been honored with the IIFA Best Debut Actress Award for this film. After her acting debut, she also did item numbers in many films, which also became quite popular. After this Shamita appeared in the film Fareb Aur Zahar, which is one of her hits.
She went on to do films including Bewafaa (2005) and Cash (2007). Following this, she participated in several reality television shows like Bigg Boss 3 (2009) and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (2015). Later, she was a contestant on the stunt-based show Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 (2019) and the game reality series Bigg Boss OTT (2021) and Bigg Boss 15 (2021–2022).
