Sunidhi was born on 14 August 1983 in Delhi. Sunidhi’s father is a small Gujarati artist. It was Sunidhi’s father who inspired her to learn music. He also has a younger sister- Sneha Chauhan.
Sunidhi Chauhan’s first marriage was at the age of 18 to choreographer and director Bobby Khan. However, this marriage lasted only for a year. Sunidhi got married for the second time on 24 April 2012 to her childhood friend and music director Hitesh Sonik.
Early Life and Education
Sunidhi did her early education at Blooming Buds Public School, Balrampur UP. After that, he completed his further from Greenway Public School Dilshad Garden Delhi.
Career
Sunidhi started her career at the age of just four. Sunidhi participated in many singing-based reality shows. But little Sunidhi’s life changed when TV anchor Tabasum noticed her singing and asked Sunidhi’s parents to come to Mumbai. After this, Sunidhi came to Mumbai and participated in Doordarshan’s singing-based reality show ‘Meri Awaaz Suno’. Sunidhi won the show and won the Lata Mangeshkar Trophy.
At the age of 16, Sunidhi got the song Ruki Ruki Si Zindagi in Ram Gopal Varma’s film Mast. Which proved to be a superhit song of the time. Sunidhi received 14 nominations for this song, out of which Sunidhi got 2 Filmfare Awards, 1 J Cine Award, and two Star Screen Awards. Along with this, Sunidhi was also awarded the RD Award under New Music Talent Search.
