Family, Early Life and Education
Tabu was born in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. His father’s name is Jamal Hashmi and mother’s name is Rizwana. She also has an elder sister named Farha Naaz and she has also been a famous actress of Hindi films. Tabu is not married.
She did her schooling from St. Ann’s School, Hyderabad. After this Tabu came to Mumbai where she studied at St. Xavier’s College for two years.
Tabu Career
She had a small role in the 1980 film ‘Bazaar’ and was very young at that time but her first Telugu film as an actress was ‘Coolie No 1’. Her first Hindi film as a lead actress was ‘Pehla Pehla Pyar’. After this came the film ‘Vijaypath’ for which she also got the Filmfare Award for Best Debut Actress. After this, many of his films came, for which he received a lot of applause from the critics as well as the audience. These include Machis, Virasat, Hu Tu Tu, Astitva, Chandni Bar, De De Pyar De, Drishyam and Haider.
